When women cake on makeup and put on heels that hurt their feet, they get offended when guys imply they’re doing it for the attention of men.
But if a guy has a Jordan collection, he’s doing it to impress other men apparently. Totally fine to make that assumption when the tables are turned.
Um…this is such a false equivalency, I can’t even. You are clearly sleep if you miss the implications of saying a woman is always dressing up for the attention of men, vs. the implication that men are simply trying to impress their peers with their new shoes. Like, the idea that men buy new shoes (that girls really don’t even care about) to show off to their friends is offensive to you but not the idea that everything women do is to make us sexually available to men? Can you think about that for a minute?
It’s a proper comparison to draw because women are quick to point out that they want to look nice for themselves because it makes them feel good.
It should not be such a stretch to believe that men like to wear nice shoes because it also makes them feel good.
Can you think about that for a minute? Or do you want to keep trying to shoehorn that “sexually available to men” argument in this post?
How she contradict herself that heavily and still have the heart to press publish?
